Leadership Changes for 2017

The ECU Jets are proud to announce some leadership changes for 2017.

Tim Natkanski has recently been appointed as a Director of the ECU Jets and will step down from his role as Head of Sport (AFL). Tim was an integral part of the creation of the Jets and this allows him to continue to contribute to the clubs strategic direction.

We are pleased to announce Corey Dullard as the Head of Sport (AFL) for 2017. Corey was the inaugural captain for the AFL team in 2016 and he also won the ECU Jets Values Award. His hard work and leadership made him a stand out candidate for the role.

Lainie Anderson has been appointed as the Head of Sport (Netball) for 2017 and takes over from Sophie Ginbey who took on the position for 2016. Sophie made a huge contribution to Jets netball this year and the board would like to thank her for her efforts.

Lainie’s direct approach to leadership and her track record in management means it will be an exciting time for Netball with the Jets.

Rebekah Newmeyer will continue in her role as Head of Sport (Cheer) after being reappointed by the board. She will drive the integration of the Cheer team into the Jets after the cheer committee voted unanimously to unincorporate and officially sign on with the Jets.

Zoe George has been appointed as the inaugural Head of Sport (Touch Football) as we create more competitive opportunities for Jets members to play Touch Football in 2017. Zoe was the Australian University Games Captain for ECU this year and brings a lot of passion and energy to the position.

We are still interviewing for the Head of Sport (Futsal) position and the board hope to announce this position soon.
